Author Guidelines

Before submitting your manuscript, authors are advised to follow the Author Guidelines below. Manuscripts not conforming to these guidelines may be returned.

1. Publication and Authorship

1. Authors are required to provide a complete list of references cited in their Manuscript.

2. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism and fraudulent data in any manuscript.

3. A minimum of two reviewers review the manuscripts.

4. Your manuscript must not have been submitted elsewhere and should not be under consideration by any other publication. Failure to comply may result in your work being desk-rejected by the journal editorial office.

5. Authors shouldn't use AI generative tools in writing their manuscripts.

6. The similarity of the manuscript must be less than %15.

7. If you have a conflict of interest, you must declare it upon submission; this allows the editor to decide how they would like to proceed.

2. Peer Review Process

All submitted articles undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, validity, and reliability of the research published in EJMSS. The journal's open-access nature does not compromise the integrity of the peer review process, which remains unbiased and focused on the scholarly value of the submitted work.

3. Manuscript Format and Guidelines

The journal follows the international standard guidelines and template for authors to prepare the manuscript. This template or guideline explains how to compose and format your content into a standard manuscript for the journal. It is very important to follow the instructions that are provided in the template before submitting the manuscript. These comprehensive resources will guide the author step-by-step on how to prepare the manuscript.

Language: Please ensure that your text is written in clear English. Both American and British English are accepted, but do not mix the two. We only accept manuscripts submitted in the English language.

Length of Paper: Manuscripts should ideally be between 5,000 and 8,000 words. Longer submissions will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Please use the following rules for the whole text, including abstract, keywords, heading, and references.

2.      Paragraph Spacing: Above paragraph – 0 pt; Below paragraph – 4 pt

3.      Line Spacing: single-spaced – 12 pt

6.      Heading 3: Times New Roman; Size-10; Italic; for example, 1.1.1 Analysis Result

Part A: Cover Page

The cover page is a separate page before the text. Provide the following information on the cover page. It should include:

Title
Concise and informative. Titles are often used in information retrieval systems. Avoid abbreviations and formulas where possible.

Authors’ names and affiliations

Please indicate the given name and family name clearly. Present the authors’ affiliation addresses below their names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author’s name and in front of the appropriate address. Provide the full affiliation, including the institution, country name, and the e-mail address.

Corresponding author

Clearly indicate who is willing to handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing, publication and also post-publication. Ensure that telephone numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address.

Part B: Preparation of text

Abstract
A concise and factual abstract is required (maximum length of 150 words). The abstract should state the purpose of the research, the principal results, and the major conclusions briefly. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. References should therefore be avoided, but if essential, they must be cited in full, without reference to the reference list.

Keywords
Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 5 keywords, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, ‘and’, ‘of’). Be sparing with abbreviations: only abbreviations firmly established in the field may be eligible.

Subdivision of the article
Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1., 2., (then 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2), 1.2, etc. (the abstract is not included in section numbering). Use this numbering also for internal cross-referencing: do not just refer to ‘the text.’ Any subsection, ideally, should not be more than 600 words. Authors are urged to write as concisely as possible, but not at the expense of clarity.

Figures

Graphs, diagrams, chromatograms, photos, etc. should be prepared as clear, black, and white (no color), original positives, and suitable for reproduction. All figures should be embedded within the manuscript and captioned and numbered sequentially.

Tables and Equations

Tables and equations should not be submitted in a format exceeding the A4 page size (in portrait form). All tables should be embedded within the manuscript and must be captioned and numbered sequentially.

Formula

The text size of the formula should be similar to normal text size.

4. References

All references in your manuscript must be formatted using the 7th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style. The journal complies with I4OC standards for open citations. The list of references should show each citation in alphabetical.
